Can an ubuntu server be setup as a usb slave drive?

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows, can I setup my ubuntu file server as a USB slave drive (not sure if that's the correct term)? I want to connect a separate standalone media player unit (like the WDTV), but the media player unit only has connection for a USB drive, it does not have network. So is there a way for me to setup the server to act like a USB drive? I basically want it to act like one of those NAS devices which can be accessed by both network and USB (I believe Lacie makes some drives like that). Thanks.

I'm trying to do the same thing. I haven't found a solution yet. Anybody know how to do this?
