Yea, I definitely prefer Ubuntu fonts.EW! I had forgotten how ugly fonts look in Windows!! All pixelated!
Cool, but I access my Gmail account via IMAP (from the desktop or the laptop).

how long has it been? about 4 years now, eh?
The whole 'fad' started in late '04 early '05 (or am i mistaken?)
But yeah, it just looks nice. im gonna switch tot he default, because the extra garbage is slowing down my loadtime. And when it comes to fast...i like fast.
Well, I'm not sure if it applies to themes as well but a lot of features are only available in the US English version of Google web applications (e.g. Gears and GMail labs). So if you don't see the theme tab after a few days try to switch the language to English (US) and see if it appears afterwards.
the word "beta" doesn't really matter if it's stable for use and feature reach. I've used Gmail since 2004 and never had a problem with it. it has all the features I need, it's fast, it supports pop3 and imap and I like how well all Google's services are integrated
