Touchpad problem with deactivation button Pavilion dv6755es

Hi, I recently installed ubuntu 10.04 64 bit on my HP Pavilion dv6755es and everything works perfect except my trackpad.

I mean, the trackpad works, the problem is the button that deactivates the trackpad, if I push that button I can't even drag a window or if I click in the Applications menu the list is not displayed until I restart.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

    Rubén Agudo

EDIT: I have also noticed that the battery indicator shows that is always connected to AC power
