    Question Openoffice Menu Problem.

    Ubuntu 9.10



    i think i am missing some openoffice apps like draw, math etc. But i installed the complete suite which said that it included ALL openoffice programs. Then i tried to install them seperately. I installed Openoffice draw from ubu software cntr but, the whole suite got uninstalled and i only had the openoffice draw. i think the programs are installed IN my computer but not showing up in the menu. any help?

    It might be helpful to try and install it through the terminal, to see what error messages it spits out. Go to Applications > Accessories > Terminal and paste in the following:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install openoffice.org
    Then post the output here for us to take a look over.

    I don't understand, Draw is the only missing here. It could be in the Graphical applications menu.

    Else, install the Sun version: [Ubuntu] Installing OOo on Debian and Co.
