I installed 10.04 Lynx using Wubi on my Vista Premium Toshiba laptop, and get the exact same messages, and then everything works fine.

Any ideas any one?

I'm running Karmic 9.10 with Skype and a C-600 Logitech webcam.

In order to get the audio to work, I had to select the webcam mic (0808) in the Sound Preferences Hardware screen

There's definetely a problem with Wubi 9.10, I was able to get around to it by clicking "Continue" to the message "Missing DVD" or something, until it finally begins downloading the iso.

Yes, I inserted the LiveDVD while running Windows, the Auto Play screen asks Install or Run Program: wubi.exe, when selected the second screen only has two options: Demo and Full installation, and...

Trying to install Karmic using Wubi 9.10 from LiveDVD and the option to install withing Windows doesn't show.
Downloaded Wubi 9.10 from Ubuntu web site with same results.
Any ideas why?

Last time I tried the install on Karmic 9.10, the module python-wxaddons was not found. Have this been corrected?
