The 64 bit version of Ubuntu will run on Intel and AMD chipsets - as will the 32 bit.
Looking at the link you provided the video is in wmv format. The unencrypted "teaser" plays but the subscription service will use DRM protected Windows Media format which is not supported in Linux.
