I have a small (big) problem i have a multimedia keyboard and when i press volume up/down it turns the recording volume up and down how the hell do i change that because the volume control applet...

In the grub comand line it tells me to press tab for options and to pres escape to exit i press escape and there are several options

I started my pc chose ubuntu and it freezed :( i restarted and when i chose again ubuntu a comand line comes up something with grub. I don`t remember everithing but if you don`t know what i`m talking...

Yes Linux isn`t for everyone .... from my experience (not to much) i think ubuntu the distribution that comes on the cd is almost everything that the basic user needs i say almost because video and...

you could try openshot it is just great .... still in development but usable :) and verry easy to use

Hello my nvidia 8400 card just broke .... i bought a 8600gt card but it seems it isn`t suported by Ubuntu more exactly it doesn`t support the resolution i need and also the text it`s alittle blurry.....

i have a problem with my benq monitor i can`t use it at a larger resolution because it doesn`t appear when i`m goin in display it only appears a crt monitor on cpu 0... i just changed the graphiks...
